volunteer trainers and

admin people who

volunteer their services

for their love of Dogs.

BADGES
MUST BE WORN to participate in trainings. If you do not have one or lost yours, please see JOHN in the clubrooms prior to training to organise a replacement.

BOWLS
Each person should be supplying drinking bowls for their dogs. Yes, we do have a large bucket available but please, on warm nights, bring one just for your dog.

BOOKS
Have been reintroduced so please do this prior to training. One is placed at either end of the clubrooms (outside) for you to complete.

COMMITTEE
Are working hard to ensure your training is completed to a high level but if you have any concerns or questions, please speak to one of us.

Introducing our new Head Instructor – Donna Cox.
Donna brings in excess of 45 years of Training, Showing and
Instructing dogs to our club. She has previously been Head Instructor
at the South Australia Obedience Dog Club in Adelaide for a total of 4 years.
The Committee would take this opportunity to thank Ros Turnbull for her
diligent service to the Clubas Head Instructor for the past 4 years.

The 2025 Club AGM was held in the Clubrooms on Monday, 17/11/2025.

15 members were in attendance. Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued interest in the welfare of our Club.
Committee elections were held and the following positions were filled:
President/Treasurer : David  McKay
Vice President: No nominations
Secretary: Veronica Watkins
Membership Officer: John Baillie
Head Trainer: Ros Turnbull
General Committee : David Rumble, Paul Hannagan
In General Business, there was a proposal that the Current Subscriptions and Proposed Joining Fees for 2026/2027 Financial Year be increased.
Joining Fee (paid once only):
$20 No Change
Single Membership:
$70 to be increased to $80.
Dual Family Membership (same household):
$100 to be increased to $110.
Concession Card Holders:
$50 to be increased to $55.
Student (12 – 18 years):
$30 to be increased to $40
Registering an extra Dog (Same Handler):
$10 to be increased to $20
This proposal was carried Unanimously and will come into effect in October 2026.
NEXT AGM WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, 16th NOVEMBER 2026.
